Much has been written about the significance of Home in our lives. Nest founder Tony Fadell took that to heart when observing the lack of modernized home products on the market. This led to a vision of a connected thermostat that learns temperature preferences to optimize home energy use.
The design replaces the kludgey “programmable” format of yesteryear with an iconic form factor fit for intuitive interaction. Materials like stainless steel and curved gorilla glass elevates our expectation for what common and often overlooked household objects can be, while in-box installation tools go to show that no detail is too small.
